Abstract

We analyze the dynamic and chaotic behavior of a reversible dynamic system (in the Arnol-Sevryuk sense) of two point-like vortices which interact with a potential wave. New features of chaotic behavior are revealed including interaction of singular solution with resonances and a new type of bifurcation.
