Abstract
Many studies have shown that there is a connection between climate change and crime rate. Following a research goal posed by the hypothetical Techno Heat Center to investigate the dynamics and specific elements of natural phenomena on crime, the following specific problems are studied in this project.1: What are the relevant variables for crime rate? 2: What is the impact of daylight savings /holidays on different types of crime? 3: What is the number of crimes in 2032 due to increase in temperature? 4: What is the number of crime incidents per city per crime type in 2022? We addressed the above problem using information from five cities in the US, including information of weather, solar lunar, demographic, socioeconomic, unemployment, storms, and crime incidents.
