Abstract

This paper presents a dynamic transition trajectory planning method for fully-actuated three-dof point-mass cable-suspended parallel robots. This trajectory is designed to connect two periodic trajectories beyond the static workspace, while ensuring continuity up to the acceleration level. A lower extrema transition time is investigated in an analytical way. An example is provided to demonstrate the proposed technique. In this example, the robot is requested to transition from its source trajectory to its goal trajectory.
