Abstract

A theory is proposed for the self‐consistent calculation of dynamical two‐point spin correlation functions in a system of randomly distributed spins with r−n interactions. It is applicable at all spin concentrations and in the high temperature limit. The formalism employs the previously described ’’bubble’’ approximation for the spin self energy while the impurity average is accomplished by a self‐consistent effective medium approximation. The results of applying this theory to spin systems interacting via dipole‐dipole (r−3) forces are presented and compared with experiment.
