Abstract

We study localized nonlinear matter waves of cubic–quintic nonlinear Schrodinger equation with combined spatiotemporal modulation of nonlinearities and time-dependent linear-lattice potential. Exact novel snakelike soliton solutions in terms of Mathieu and elliptic functions are obtained by using a modified similarity transformation. The stability of exact solutions is investigated numerically and some stable snakelike solitons are found.
