Abstract
The relativistic straight-line string is described in terms of orbits of coadjoint representation of non-compact groups. The description is based on the Kirillov construction and is closely related with the algebraic approach of the dynamical group. A formulation of the straight-line string analogous to Bargmann-Wigner formalism for high spin particles is found.
