Abstract

Classical trajectories on a well coupled model potential energy surface have been used to study the effects of mode localized excitation on unimolecular decomposition in C 2H 6. The results display both apparent and intrinsic non-statistical effects that can be ascribed to restrictions in intramolecular energy transfer both among the CH vibrations and between these CC motion.
