Abstract
Using the functional integration method the dynamical symmetry breaking in the U(3) Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model has been studied. The possibility of spontaneous CP symmetry breaking in the model under consideration was shown. With the help of the bosonization procedure the propagators of quarks, scalar and pseudoscalar fields were evaluated in one loop approximation. The masses of the nonets of scalar and pseudoscalar mesons are calculated.
