Abstract

In the proceeding series of lectures we have heard much about symmetries of elementary particles and the more or less successful classification of them into the various representations of SU3 [1]. We also heard about the information one obtains by combining group properties with certain dynamical models [2]. The question now arises whether it is possible to obtain additional information on dynamical entities (such as amplitudes or form factors) purely from the symmetry properties of elementary particles without further dynamical assumptions. That this is indeed possible has been shown by investigations carried out in Vienna by several authors (refs. [3] to [6]).
