Abstract
The dynamics of the photo-induced spin-crossover transition in [Fe(2-pic)3]Cl2 – EtOH crystals has been studied by spectroscopic measurement, and we confirmed the threshold-like behavior in the excitation intensity dependence of the dynamics. The obtained results are clear evidence that the photo-induced spin-crossover transition in this crystal can be classified as photo-induced cooperative phenomena (photo- induced phase transition).
