Abstract

Experimental dynamic viscosities and densities are reported for the binary and ternary mixtures of benzene, ethanol, and n-heptane at 25 {sup 0}C. The data are correlated with the generalized corresponding states method of Teja and Rice by treating the ternary system as pseudobinary and by using only binary information. A van Laar type mixing rule is used for the pseudocritical temperature of the binary mixtures. Experimental and calculated viscosities for the ternary system are in satisfactory agreement.
