Abstract

AbstractWith the development of high-speed railway, traction motor has become an important equipment of EMU, and temperature rise is very important for the safe operation of motor. In this paper, considering the influence of temperature rise on the parameters of the motor, the heat transfer theory involved in the traction motor is analyzed. The thermal network model of traction motor is established based on the lumped parameter thermal network method, and the model is built in Matlab/Simulink to simulate the temperature change of the motor. After that, the thermal network model is verified by the two-dimensional steady-state temperature field set up by ANSYS Workbench and the actual motor temperature rise experiment, and the simulation results are good.KeywordsTemperature riseThermal networkTraction induction motor
