Abstract

Renewable Energy Harvesting is needed to meet the increasing worlds demand for fossil fuel energy, the reduction rate of conventional energy sources must be reduced. Currently, many of techniques are available but with less effectiveness. These techniques result in a long payback period of investments. Present work is an investigation of various aspects of convective heat transfer enhancement using pin fins, Corrugated Tubes, and Twisted Tapes for recovery of Industrial waste heat and its integration with Renewable Energy such as Solar Energy. TRNSYS 16 is used to validate new energy concepts, from simple domestic hot water systems to the design and simulation of Integrated Waste heat Recovery system, including control strategies and alternative energy systems. Integrated Waste Heat Recovery System using Pin Fins, a corrugated tube with twisted tape heat Exchangers and with Flat Plate Solar Collector is having a significant effect on the overall efficiency of the power plant increases by 10.5-18.8% for various Load Conditions.
