Abstract

Using a finite-element method to numerically solve the time-dependent Ginzburg–Landau equations, we studied the dynamic properties of superconducting strips with a central, time-dependent, weakened superconducting region. Through our research, we obtained the voltage oscillation as a function of time. Particularly, a multiharmonic voltage oscillation was found in the superconducting strip. With increasing period of pinning potential, the frequency of the voltage oscillation decreases.
