Abstract
The main task of this paper is to investigate the influence of mechanical vibrations on the diffusion process. We introduce the assumption of an adiabatic process and we diminate from the differential equations for thermodiffusion given by J. Podstrigač the temperature field. The unknown functions are the chemical potential μ and the displacement vector u. We present the basic energy theorem constituting the point of departure for the theorem of uniqueness of solutions of the differential equations of diffusion in solids. We examine two ways of solutions of the system of differential equations; by means of the elastic potentials and by means of Galerkin vector function and one scalar functions. These functions are used to reduce the system of differential equations to a system of simple wave equations.
