Abstract

This paper is concerned with the problem of gain-scheduled ℋ 2 dynamic output feedback controller synthesis for a continuous-time LPV system. Motivated by recent results on gain-scheduled ℋ 2 LPV control, a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function approach for LPV state feedback controller synthesis problem in [1] is extended to solve ℋ 2 dynamic output feedback control problem. Based on the polytopic characteristic of the dependent parameters and a convexification method, the corresponding controller synthesis problem is also cast into finite-dimensional convex optimization problem which can be efficiently solved by using standard numerical softwares. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed method.
