Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the dynamics of the impact device for the prevention of ice formation on the wires of power lines. Two dynamic models are proposed for the side and bottom mounting methods of the device. The adequacy of the dynamic models was tested, and the influence of the mass of the device and the initial velocity on the dynamics of the firing pin attached to the wire was studied. Due to the ease of use, high speed of calculations and qualitative correct results of the calculations, the dynamic model can be used for determining the parameters of the device for preventing the formation of ice on the wires of power lines as part of the methodology.
