Abstract

Abstract Over many years, for the reinforcement of polymers natural fibres are being used. In present work, the DMA of banana, pineapple leaf and glass fibre reinforced polyester composites i.e., storage modulus (E′), loss modulus (E″), damping (Tanδ) and glass transition temperature (Tg) were carried out with the effect of fibre content, frequency and temperature i.e., 30%, 20%, and 10% natural fibre loading with the frequencies of 1 Hz, 2 Hz, 5 Hz, 7 Hz and 10 Hz are considered on hybrid fibre reinforced polyester composites and the temperature ranging from room temperature to 130 °C at a heating range of 5 °C/min.
