Abstract

This article describes a new method of application of a noncontact displacement sensor in the measurement of microscopic irregularities in the form of the difference in the deviation of the diameter of the machined round bar from the material steel C45 after the process of turning. In the first part, we described the principle of measurement using a confocal sensor. In the second part, we described the wiring diagram of the measuring system. Finally, we evaluated the results of the experiment, where we analyzed the measurement results from several samples.
