Abstract

Coherent dynamics of two charged particles with the repulsive Coulomb interaction in a periodic lattice system is theoretically studied with the help of numerical calculations. The two particles are assumed to be in a one-dimensional lattice system under the influence of an oscillating electric field. It is shown that initially localized wave functions of two charged particles remain localized in the presence of an applied oscillating electric field under some conditions. This is nothing but the dynamic localization of two charged panicles. These conditions for the dynamic localization are discussed.
