Abstract

Carcinogenesis of Structural Variations in Human Cancer In article number 2200818, Hebing Chen, Chengfeng Wang, and co-workers report carcinogenesis of structural variations (SVs) focusing on their dynamic interplay with three-dimensional (3D) genome organization with multi-omics strategies integrating long-read single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) technique in deadly human pancreatic cancer. This work provides a genome-wide prospects of SVs and 3D genome, and expand current understanding of tumorigenesis, which might facilitate the identification of novel prognostic markers or therapeutic targets.
