Abstract

A mathematical model of dynamic behavior of a thin metallic inclusion or a layer in a piezoelectric medium subjected to longitudinal shear load is constructed. At the boundary of inclusion and matrix, the conditions of perfect mechanical contact and zero electric potential are prescribed.
