Abstract

AbstractIn this article, the dynamic event‐triggered decentralized control (DETDC) problem is investigated for a class of interconnected systems. In order to reduce the communication frequency between the interconnected subsystem and local controller, we first design a dynamic event‐triggered mechanism (ETM) for each interconnected subsystem, which can effectively reduce the communication frequency compared with static ETM. Hereafter, under the proposed dynamic event‐triggered strategy, the local dynamic event‐triggered controller is developed, which only uses the state information of the corresponding interconnected subsystem. Furthermore, it is proven that the interconnected system is asymptotically stable under the proposed DETDC scheme. Moreover, the trigger interval is proven to be strictly positive, which means that Zeno behavior is avoided. Finally, a multi‐machine power system is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed DETDC scheme.
