Abstract
Purpose: The literature on the use of the Wilhelmy plate technique for the analysis of contact lenses is somewhat limited; there is perhaps only one paper which compared a range of contact lens materials using the technique. This is possibly due to complications associated with its use in the analysis of such materials. The aim of this work is to analyse a range of silicone-based hydrogel contact lens materials using the technique.
