Abstract

Abstract Periodic feedback is a control strategy implemented by fast zero-average oscillations in the parameters of the control law. It is well known that time invariant feedback control offers no means for zeros relocation. Periodic feedback allows zeros relocation in an asymptotic sense, resulting in improved closed loop characteristics, such as increased gain margins.
