Abstract

AbstractIn order to solve the problem of the low success rate of virtual network resource allocation caused by the unreasonable resource backup strategy, this paper proposes a dynamic backup algorithm for network resources based on node characteristics under network slicing. The algorithm includes three processes: resource classification, resource backup trigger condition judgment, and resource backup execution. In the resource classification step, the importance of the underlying network nodes is analyzed from three aspects: the type of the underlying node, the resource usage of the underlying node, and the distance between the underlying node and other underlying nodes, and the underlying network nodes are divided into key resources and common resources. In the resource backup trigger condition judgment step, judgment is made from two trigger conditions: a global trigger and a local trigger. In the resource backup step, different backup strategies are adopted for common resources and critical resources to make the backup effect more consistent with actual needs. In the experiment, it is verified that the algorithm in this paper has improved the bottom-level network revenue and the mapping success rate of the virtual network.KeywordsNetwork slicingResource allocationResource backupUnderlying networkVirtual network
