Abstract

Most chiropractors prescribe exercises for their patients in the non-acte phase of treatment. This article describes the functional workings of an adjunctive rehabilitation clinic within a chiropractic practice whereby patients can receive a comprehensive, adaptable rehabilitation regime which can be monitored and modified as required without the need to increase the practitioner's contact time with the patient. As this is often a limiting factor within a rehabilitation regime, from both the aspect of patient cost and time management, this approach provides a cost-effective means of improving patient care.
