Abstract
This paper presents the natural frequencies investigation of Piezo ceramics (PC) of PC-4, PC-5A, PC-5H and PC-8 circular plates at various Poisson’s ratios of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4. The geometry of plate was considered from the reference of American Piezo Ceramics and dynamic vibration analysis was done in the finite element simulation software for ease, time saving and feasibility. It is monitored that the values of natural frequencies are in kilo hertz for all PCs because of high stiffness and low mass values. The optimum PC is PC-5H based on simulation results for direct piezoelectric applications.
