Abstract

In this paper, a nonlinear control scheme is designed and implemented on a low-voltage (LV)-level dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) system. A dynamic DVR model is proposed as a nonlinear converter, so that feedback linearization can be directly utilized. During the control design, phase shift(PS) is defined as the control variable, and the output voltage is appropriately defined as the control objective. The details of the design of the control scheme are provided in the paper. The proposed dynamic model was tested by the simulation results. The simulation results show that nonlinear control has good performance.
