Abstract
A one-dimensional model of a helicopter main rotor blade in the plane of rotation with a vertical hinge (VSH) is considered. The friction in the VH corresponds to the Dahl model. The resonant frequency, free oscillations and phase trajectories of the model are analyzed depending on the value of the contact stiffness of Dahl friction.
