Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the theoretical foundation and the results of empirical testing of the approach developed by the authors to assess the large company’s divisions management dynamic capabilities. The analysis of existing methods for assessing (measuring) dynamic capabilities, given in the article, showed the fundamental difficulties of their application to the companies’ non-market divisions, which results do not directly affect their competitive advantages. The developed approach is focused on identifying the presence or absence of readiness and ability of department managers to develop solutions necessary to overcome non-standard (unforeseen) problem situations. The way to identify is to conduct in-depth interviews with employees who have experience in teamwork in the "Cynefin" framework, followed by an expert analysis of the answers received. In the final part of the article, possible directions for further research on the dynamic capabilities of company divisions are discussed.
