Abstract
The synthesis of several series of anthraquinone vat dyes is described. The dyes were dyed on polyester, cotton and cotton–polyester blend fabrics and their dyeing and fastness properties evaluated. The levelling and fastness properties of all dyed samples meet commercial requirements.
