Abstract
An ethynyl-linked porphyrin trimer with a carboxyphenyl anchoring group at its long-axis end can be adsorbed more densely on a TiO2 surface and exhibited better performance in dye-sensitized solar cells than did the trimer with short-axis anchoring, with photoelectric conversion in the near-IR region.
