Abstract

New differential cross section data are presented for the (t,6He) reaction on targets of 7Li and 19F at an incident energy of 38 MeV. Existing data for the (t,6He) reaction on 12,13C have been re-extracted and revised values are reported for 12C. Exact finite range DWBA calculations are presented using Woods-Saxon potentials for the projectile and target wavefunctions; the effect of the choice of geometry parameters is examined. The spectroscopic factors are compared with shell-model and microscopic-model calculations.
