Abstract

<h2>Abstract</h2> Residents of long-term care facilities (LTCFs) usually are under the care of a physician and reside within a facility that provides medical services as ordered by the physician. The Ohio Court of Appeals recently ruled that when a pharmacy contracts to provide pharmaceutical products and services to LTCF residents, the pharmacy has a duty to exercise reasonable care in the provision of those services.
