Abstract

Introduction - Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) has become the most frequently used procedure for the treatment of an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Distal endograft migration, endoleak and stentgraft stenosis are common complications of EVAR with possible fatal outcome if left untreated. Endovascular aneurysm sealing (EVAS) is a novel alternative for EVAR and preliminary results are promising and have shown a low rate of endoleaks compared to EVAR. The objective of the current study is to describe the Dutch experience with relining a failed open or endovascular AAA with EVAS.
