Abstract

For patients with treatment-resistant depression, ECT is associated with increased hippocampal gray matter volume following treatment. However, little work has explored the durability of hippocampal and other gray matter volumetric changes after the conclusion of active index treatment. Here we examine the durable and non-durable changes in gray matter volume six months following index ECT.
