Abstract
The durability and effectiveness of rock bolts has been the subject of several large research assignments in Scandinavia in recent years. The advent of Atlas Copco's Swellex rock bolt prompted fresh research by the Swedish Rock Engineering Research Foundation (BeFo), with a view to assessing the 'permanence' of the new bolt compared to conventional bolts. 6 refs., 4 figs., 3 tabs.
