Abstract

A duplication cyst of the gastric antrum was diagnosed in a 35-year man after recurring attacks of acute pancreatitis. The patient was operated on with the preoperative diagnosis of cystic dystrophy on aberrant pancreatic tissue of the antrum wall. Diagnosis of duplication was established on pathologic examination of antrectomy specimen. A review of the literature about gastric duplication is performed.
