Dunhuang Caisson Patterns in Fashion Design

Abstract

This study analyzed the current status quo of caisson pattern, extracted and redesigned its constituent elements. By researching through scattering the constituent elements of pattern, deconstruction and re-integration, extracting and stitching the color, and combined with aesthetic styles of modern design, we can apply new design patterns to fashion design.
