Abstract
This paper presents optimization of dual stage inverter implementation with current sensorless Non-MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for micro-inverter in a photovoltaic module (PV). The design of flyback inverter is used VSI type (Voltage Source Inverter) with Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) method. The flyback inverter used is the topology of Kasa. The advantages of this type of inverter include: quite in the use of power transistor switches, long life of the inverters, small size makes it portable, stable AC injection into the utility line and the output of the inverter has a high efficiency. The Non-MPPT method which used is constant voltage (CV) and compared with the Perturb and Observe (P&O) method which is implemented on dual stage: flyback converter and flyback inverter. The Non-MPPT method used is a Constant Voltage that is implemented on a dual stage flyback converter with parallel configuration. To verify the effectiveness of the micro-inverter design, the method is checked under different irradiation conditions. The results show that the Kasa type flyback inverter is large enough with the constant voltage method can be optimal in the micro-inverter output efficiency under different irradiation conditions.
