Abstract

In this paper, a dual-polarized frequency selective absorber (FSA) with wide notch band based on circuit analog (CA) is proposed. The proposed FSA is composed of a two-layered structure with an air layer in between according to the circuit topology. At the top layer, meander lines and interdigitated capacitors are used to replace the inductance and capacitance in the corresponding circuit, and metalized vias are adopted to connect the two in parallel. The bottom layer is just a layer of dielectric substrate and a metal plate on its backside. The overall structure exhibits two absorption bands over the frequency ranges of 3.3 to 6.7 GHz and 11.7 to 14 GHz, whereas a reflective band is obtained from 7.62 to 11.05 GHz (36.9 % ). The simulation results show that the proposed absorber has ultrawide absorption band and flat notch. Furthermore, good agreement is obtained between the simulation results and circuit analysis.
