Abstract

This article describes a surface-plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor with dual-mode angular interrogation. In this device, the long- and the short- range surface plasmons are simultaneously excited at the same location and the same wavelength, but at different angles. A high N.A. cylindrical lens is combined with a line camera detector which allows simultaneous measurement of reflection over a range of 15deg.
