Abstract
Using previous results about R to 1 R duality in orbifold models we deduce the corresponding symmetry properties in the framework of Landau-Ginzburg (LG) models. We find explicit representations of the coefficients of LG potentials in terms of characters of conformal field theories and relate them to the Yukawa couplings in the corresponding four-dimensional string model.
