Abstract

A 68-year-old man underwent ERCP for suspected cystic duct leak after cholecystectomy. Cholangiography confirmed a high-grade cystic duct leak. Sphincterotomy was performed, and a 10F × 5 cm plastic biliary stent was placed. Persistent daily drain output prompted repeated ERCP 6 weeks later. A cholangiogram revealed a persistent cystic duct leak, and a 10 mm × 60 mm covered self-expanding metal stent (CSEMS) was placed to occlude the cystic duct orifice.
