Abstract

Currently, a combination therapy of pegylated (PEG) interferon (IFN) α-2b and ribavirin are being widely used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC). We describe here a case of dual onset of type 1 DM accompanied by ketoacidosis, and Graves’ disease during the combination therapy via the autoimmune process.
