Abstract

Abstract Extract Investigations of difficulties in rearing hoggets and of associated trace mineral deficiency in Hawke's Bay showed the existence of a dual deficiency of copper and cobalt on the soil known as Pakipaki coarse sandy loam.(1) N.Z. Dept. Sci. Industr. Res. 1939. Bull. No. 70, : 23–23. [Google Scholar] No account of such a dual deficiency in New Zealand has yet been published, and it is considered desirable, therefore, to record briefly the evidence for the existence in Hawke's Bay.
