Abstract
Nitron dichloroiodide—Nt(ICl 2)—has been prepared and studied, and a gravimetric determination of iodine as Nt(ICl) 2 has been based on the result. For 4–40 mg of iodine the error is less than that of the determination as AgI. Bromate and chlorate do not interfere.
