Abstract

In this work, a real time video stabilization system is developed for reducing unwanted irregular motions caused by unstable handshaking or vibration and keeping wanted changes in video sequence captured by cameras. The video stabilization system consists of phase correlation based global motion estimation and Kalman filtering based motion correction. The developed system is implemented on a TI DSP DM6437 successfully in real-time.
