Abstract
The purpose the study is to determine the performance justification design parameters and operating mode of a continuous drum dispenser. To dispense bulk powdery and fine-grained feed additives in small quantities into the feed mixture, a continuous drum dispenser is proposed, which consists of a hopper, an inlet and outlet neck, a rotor housing and sectors. The inlet neck of the dispenser is located on the left side the dispenser shaft, and the outlet neck is on the right side. Theoretical studies were carried out using the basic provisions of technical mechanics. The experiments were carried out on a specially manufactured installation. As a result of the research, the following design parameters and operating mode of a continuous drum dispenser were established, providing productivity within Q=10-137kg/h: the number of sectors in the rotor is 6, the number of rotations of the rotor is 40 r/min, the radius of the circumference outer arc of the sector is 39 mm, the radius of circle forming the inner arc sector is 29 mm.
